Complectation

The EPFCS UHLS5device is designed for stepless variable electric regulation of speed and torque of a single-motor drive and supply of voltageto all auxiliary devices of the station in gas and/or dust hazardous underground mine workings.

The device is made with spark-safe remote control circuits, it has explosion-proof design and protection marking PB Exdfialia I. The shell structure provides the adequate ingress IP54 protection according to GOST 14254-96.

The station is designed to operate in networks with isolated neutral.

It provides:

  • Stepless variable electric regulation of speed and torque;
  • operational local and remote control of electrical drive;
  • absence of sharpjerks and shocks;
  • mechanicaland electrical locking;
  • control of the auxiliary engines of brake cooling circuit, motor drives and other auxiliary equipment.

Electric motor protection:

  • data transfer via the RS-485 interface, Modbus protocol;
  • connection to fiber-optic communication line;
  • logging of the emergency events.

Operating conditions:

  • ambient air temperature +1...+35°C;
  • relative air humidity is up to 100% at temperature +35°C;
  • absence of sharp jerks and shocks;
  • dust condition of the ambient air is not exceeding 1000 mg/m3;
  • working position in the spaceis horizontal, the deviation from working position up to 15 degrees in any direction is allowed.
