THERMAL PROTECTION CABINET of TPC type

Thermal protection cabinet is designed to monitor the current temperature of windings and magnetic circuit of the transformer. This temperature control allows to protect the transformer from overheating by sending a signal to activate the cooling system of the transformer, or by sending a signal to disable opening of the transformer power supply cell, or to remove the load (disconnecting LVS feeders).

Also this cabinet can be used to control the indoor air ventilation.

The control relay is a microprocessor relay TR-100/101 manufactured by NOVATEK to which up to four temperature sensors can be connected.
