Complectation

Package transformer substations of PTS type are intended for installation in the underground developments of gas-hazardous and pulverized coal hazardous mines, for the purpose of power supply of current collectors with three-phase, alternating current, 50 Hz frequency, and also for providing protection against current leakage and the maximum current protection of the low voltage lines. 

The substations are explosion-proof, with intrinsically safe remote control circuits and has explosion protection marked as PB Exd[ialial. The shell structure provides the outer IP54 protection according to GOST 14254-96.

Electromashina plant produces two main types of transformer substations differing in design and circuitry.

First type substations: HVS substations of the first type is equipped with an uncontrollable disconnector of load-break switch. There are three options for completing HVS:

  • Idling run disconnector with the surge arresters and voltage presenceindication at the input;
  • load-break switch with indication of input voltage, and load-break switch of a vacuum type. LVS substations of the first type has two optional arrangement: with the possibility of local control and remote switching (PDO) is equipped with standard OP units or OP-5, LCPD, BSU and automatic switch with manual cocking;
  • with option of remote control and data transfer via RS485 is equipped with a microprocessor-based terminal for connections protection of MTCP-1200 type and LCPD.MK with controllable vacuum switch VS.
Second type substations: HVS substations of the second type is equipped with a controllable switching device (Rollarc contactor or vacuum switch BB/Tel with switching overvoltagelimiters) and microprocessor-based relay
protection (Sepam T42 or MTPC-2). Since 2017, LV switchgear substations of the second type are equipped with microprocessor-based terminal MTPC-1200. Triggering the protection of outgoing lines results in deactivating of
the high-voltage switchgear (HVS).
Substation is equipped with a running gear consisting of slides to which it is possible to mount standard ramps of mine trolleys. Also it is provided with hoisting and trailing devices, designed for lifting, and also for descending thereof both in inclined and in vertical shafts.
